Air

Conference attendees are responsible for ensuring their flights are booked.

You will need your flight details to formally register for the meeting, as flight details are part of the mandatory information to be provided by each participant.

North America

  • Amadeus North America employees must make reservations through Amadeus e-Travel Management.

  • If booking a flight on American Airlines through Amadeus e-Travel Management, include the following note to agent: “Apply AA group discount to CUN.”

Latin America

Europe
  • All participants from locations where we do not have the volumes to negotiate group fares must chose the most cost-efficient fare with an acceptable schedule. Please contact your travel coordinator or your TMC for assistance.

  • All intercontinental flights are in business class. If necessary, connecting flights have to be accepted unless the trip duration would increase by around 3 or more hours. Any exception to the above requires written approval by the incumbent Vice-President.

All attendees: You must arrive on May 18 unless it is absolutely impossible to make it in time for the 2 pm conference start time. If you are flying in prior to the 18th or after the 21st for a business-related reasons, you MUST still confirm hotel availability by emailing karenw@corporateplanners.com PRIOR to booking your flight.

Airport information

The resort is approximately 11 miles from the Cancun International Airport. Departure taxes: If you see a code ‘XD’ on the fare calculation line of your Cancun airline ticket, you do not have to pay a departure tax. If you do not see that code, expect to pay approximately $25 (cash only) in departure taxes at the airport upon departing Cancun. Amadeus will reimburse you for this expense.

Upon arrival, custom procedures can take 1 1/2 hours, so please plan your flights accordingly.
